AWS CWI/CSWIP3.1/IWE/IWTMDE (VT, PT, RT, UT) Level-Il as per SNT-TC-1A or1SO 9712.

Hands on Experience on ERP
Required Technical Competency –
Drawing Reading, Knowledge of Welding Technology& Code/Standards (ASME/AWS/EN I1SO/PED/API)Knowledge of welding processes and weld defects.
Brief Job Description :-
Review of Customer Specifications and Drawings: Analyze customer specifications, datasheets, and GA drawings to identify requirements for new welding procedures, consumables, and welder qualifications.
Procurement and Technical Documentation: Coordinate inquiries for new welding consumables and equipment, and prepare Technical Data Sheets (TDS) detailing requirements for new projects.
Execution of Welding Procedures and Qualifications: Conduct welding procedures and welder qualifications in compliance with ASME Sec. IX, AWS D1.1, EN ISO 15609/15614/9606, PED 2014/EU/14 standards, and customer specifications under TPI/ customer supervision.
Documentation and Submission: Prepare and submit comprehensive Weld Books, Weld Plans, and WPS/PQR/WPQ documentation for customer and project approval.
Repair and Heat Treatment Procedures: Develop weld repair procedures, hardness test plans, and PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment) procedures. Issue HT cycles to production and review PWHT charts for endorsement.
Monthly Updates: Maintain and update the Welder Qualification List and the list ofWPS/PQR in compliance with ASME Sec. IX, AWS D1.1, and EN ISO 15609-1/15614-1/9606-1 standards. Ensure continuity records for welders are regularly updated.
Coordination for Qualifications and Testing: Collaborate with Third- Party Inspectors (TPI)and laboratories for the qualification and testing of WPS/PQR, WQT, and PTC as perapplicable codes.
Welding Consumable Inspections: Conduct inward inspections of welding consumables at the store, review consumable Test Certificates (TCs), and ensure timely clearance of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
Inventory Monitoring: Track non -Moving welding consumables through the ERP systemand develop a monthly dilution plan.
Shop Floor Surveillance: Perform surveillance on shop floor welding activities to ensure adherence to project quality requirements and code compliance. Document findings through spot check reports.
Procurement Requests: Prepare Purchase Requisition (PRQ) and Service Requisition (SRQ)related to welding activities.
Monthly Reporting: Compile and submit the Monthly Welding MIS report to the QA Head.
