Job Overview
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanisation solutions to improve conventional farming practices. You will play a crucial role in creating economic farming solutions for micro-farms, with a focus on solving problems related to non-availability of farm labour, low profits, and labour drudgery. This is a full-time position with the requirement of 1 to 3 years of experience. The job location is Medchal, Telangana, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in product design and development
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience with engineering calculations and simulations
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and material selection
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Roles and Responsibilities
- Designing and developing mechanisation solutions to improve conventional farming practices
- Participating in brainstorming sessions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define design objectives
- Creating and modifying 3D models, prototypes, and designs using CAD software
- Conducting testing and analysis to validate product performance and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior design engineers
- Assisting in the preparation of technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and manuals
