Job description & requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the entire product line from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
  • Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
  • Share product related data internal & external stakeholders & regulators on daily/Weekly/Monthly/Half yearly/Annual basis
  • Identifying product gaps, developing business case, product plan, product definition and specifications, product launch and life cycle management activities.
  • Monitoring problem areas; defining or approving planned product enhancements.
  • Participating in quality assessment and improvement processes.
  • Build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.
  • Achieve the targets as set by your reporting Manager which would change from time to time and would be communicated to you as decided by the Management
  • Participating in quality assessment and improvement processes.
  • Gathering marketplace requirements and setting direction for future product evolution
  • Analyse Product performance, Product competitiveness, and product trends in the marketplace and develops strategies for assigned brand based on research and analysis.
  • Works with sales teams to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies.
  • Liaison with third party like Index providers, Rating agencies, regulators, etc for product related services.
  • Undertake bill processing for product related jobs independently.
  • Independently handle work on marketing collaterals related to products.
  • Proficient in software like ICRA MF online, Bloomberg, Reuters will be an add on.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Communicating investment and Marketing strategies internally and externally closely liaising with Investment and Marketing teams.
  • Work in close co-ordination with Compliance and Legal for approval of all materials. • Oversee the creation of all marketing material including factsheets, one pagers, presentations, other publicity material and content for Investment Education.
  • Act as a resource to internal and external clients with regard to all marketing (Factsheets, one pagers, presentation etc.), Investor Education and regulatory material (KIM, SID, Addendums, Rules and regulations etc.)
  • Work to improve the branding of LICMF and support digital marketing initiatives
  • Job Specifications

  • MBA/Master’s degree or equivalent in business-related field.
  • At least 5- 6 years’ experience in relevant field in Mutual Fund
  • Creative thought process.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment.
  • Eye for details and meticulous
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Advance knowledge of MS Excel/PPT, capability to work on data.
  • Good understanding of financial market dynamics
  • Good interpersonal and communication (oral presentation and writing) skills.
